Base Resources Office Relocation was engaged on a Construction Management (CM) Fee model with OPRA Projects leading as the head contractor and Hudson Creative as the lead designer.
The Project consisted of 11 New Offices, 6x Manager Workstations, 31x Workstations and 1x Hot desk. 4x Meeting spaces, 4x Focus spaces, 1x Employee hub, 1x Kitchen, 1x Utility Comms area, 2x Storage Zones and 1x Waiting area. The client wanted to make the kitchen and breakout area a comfortable and functional space for staff, creating an unusual but clever triangle benchtop table to tie the room together – mimicking the shape of the floorplate and rooms area to bring the space together.
The Project required a compressed timeframe as the client needed to relocate by a set time. Due to the current pandemic, there have been many delays waiting on materials, white goods, and furniture throughout the Project. So to complete Base Resources Office Fit-out on time and to budget on the compressed timeframe is a testament to the management skills and collaboration of project managers Scott Robinson and Armani May.
