To accommodate the growing need for security, the Department of Immigration and Border Protection sought to install security scanners and search pods into their Counter Terrorism Unit at Perth International Airport.
The project involved full demolition of the existing tenancy and the construction of Zone 4 security rated walls and partitions. Being air-side at Perth International Airport also meant complying with PAPLs policies and permit procedures, with particular care being vital to the main services as to not disrupt passport control areas. His careful planning and liaison with PAPL and the Department ensured zero disruptions or security implications to terminal operations.
