As building owners, Primewest required the make good and upgrade of the base building amenities at the heritage listed CBA Building to accommodate incoming tenants.
The scope required the removal of the existing conventional ceilings, the preparation of the concrete slab soffit and the modification of all services to provide a clean new space, exposing in full detail the heritage features. Careful conservation and restoration was required for the column detail, parquetry flooring and timber works as well as for the stone screens in the amenities areas.
Delivered on a compressed four-week programme, this project required a high degree of collaboration to ensure zero interruption to the working tenants on Level 1 and in the adjacent space on Level 2.
