ECU Radio Broadcasting Studio

As a means of maintaining world-class facilities for the practical benefit of their students, Edith Cowan University sought to upgrade their Radio Broadcasting Studios in Building 13 at the Mount Lawley Campus.

The projects included a fit-out of teaching spaces, performing room construction of studio, producers and news reading rooms including an extreme level of acoustic performance.

New partitions, glazed partitioning, ceilings, joinery and floor coverings completed a conventional fit-out specification. Adding to that, each the space was fit out to high acoustic rating.

Part of the works were delivered during examination time. This critical time in the Teaching and Learning calendar meant it was vital that OPRA worked outside of hours, or ensured any works did not create disruption.
