After the successful completion of South32’s office fit-out on levels 42 and 26. OPRA Projects were engaged to undertake the upgrade and refurbishment to level 36.
The refurbishment consisted of new meeting rooms, a breakout area including reception and upgrades to Lockers on Levels 33, 34, 35, 36. Refurbishment works to the meeting room on level 42 were also included. Strong stakeholder engagement coordination between the client, South32 and OPRA was needed to complete the works to a high-quality finish and within the tight 4-week compressed timeframe. After hour works were required to ensure zero disruptions to occupants in a 100% live environment.
Despite there being a pandemic, this project continued to completion within the timeframe and budget.
