Local developer Blackburne envisioned themselves relocating to one of their most prestigious buildings to date – as part of the re-activation of Subiaco. OPRA was engaged as head contractors to construct their new visionary head office in the newly completed building, One Subiaco – located on the corner of Rokeby Road and Roberts Road, Subiaco.
The new high-end office space included an in-situ terrazzo flooring pour. Which was crucial to start such works before any other trades began on site. EOT facilities were also an amendment added later as additional works, which made it challenging to meet the deadline close to Christmas. Strong stakeholder management and a renegotiation of the timeframe to allow for extra building works meant we were able to complete the final project with high-end finishes and of a quality that Blackburne anticipated and expected.
