Osaka Gas relocated within 108 St Georges Terrace to a high-quality fit-out on Level 22.
True to the long history and traditions of the company, the new workplace was Japanese inspired. A specialised contractor was required for the installation of a large and detailed joinery package in the breakout space. In order to maintain strict timelines, this resulted in a high degree of coordination with OPRA trades.
Curved glazing panels and studded walls, with a 10-week lead time, softened the aesthetic of the fit-out but strained the challenging programme. OPRA Projects were able to mitigate this and form the curved frame early and template the glass to meet the completion date.
With occupied floors above and below the works OPRA also had to work within strict parameters for noisy works. This required being available at all times for constant liaison with disrupted tenants. OPRA also accommodated client walk-throughs during the build.
In achieving full design intent, the fit-out was completed on time and to a delighted client.
